The Russian invaders are trying to dislodge the Defense Forces from previously recaptured positions in the south of Ukraine, in particular, in the Orekhiv direction of the Zaporozhye region. The situation there is very difficult, but controlled.
Rustam Mustafayev, chief sergeant of the shock UAV company of the 47th separate mechanized brigade, who is located in the Orekhovsky direction of the Zaporozhye region, told TSN about this. He stressed that the enemy used there all types of weapons that he could.
"I can say that the enemy is unsuccessfully trying to dislodge our infantry from the positions that were previously recaptured by us, using all his means to the maximum. He spares absolutely nothing. He even works on the first line with UABs (guided aerial bombs). It seems that that they are working with the last of their strength, they don’t know what to use. Here, except for nuclear weapons, everything has already been used. They just don’t know how to deal with our counteroffensive," the military said.
At the same time, commenting on the situation with the morale of the enemy, Mustafayev noted that the Russians have several categories of servicemen.
"We call one of them "meat", because they are those who are abandoned without reinforcement of equipment, almost without artillery cover. And in the rear behind them are "Akhmatovtsy", "Kadyrovtsy" who are used as barrage detachments - they are simply they don't let them back in. They have a choice: either die or surrender, and very often they surrender. I would not say that they are there with some kind of high morale. I talked with prisoners, not only they don’t want to fight, they are simply powerless - both morally and physically. If we have logistics, delivery of food, products, batteries, etc., constantly working at our positions, then they don’t have it. We faced the fact that they brought 5 a liter bottle of water for a whole platoon. They have it at a very low level, what kind of fighting spirit can we talk about," he summed up.
