In the Russian Makhachkala, in part of the premises of a car service, which is located near a gas station, a lot of fertilizers with saltpeter (an explosive substance) were stored.
A fire started at the car service, and people came to see it, and then there was a powerful explosion, VChK-OGPU reports in Telegram. According to him, the blast provoked the detonation of two tanks at the gas station and a very strong fire.
“After a fire started in a car service, which people gathered to look at, the saltpeter exploded. The explosion was so powerful that it destroyed everything in its path, in particular, a grill tent with a family of four…”, the channel notes.
