A Russian drone that crashed on Romanian territory during an attack on the Odessa region has crashed less than a kilometer from the Ukrainian border.

This is stated in the OSINT investigation of the GeoConfirmed community on Twitter. Volunteers collected photos and videos of the drone crash, establishing the alleged crash area - the Romanian side of the Danube River, approximate coordinates: 45.328864, 28.803601.

Judging by the maps, a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle could have fallen 700 meters from the Ukrainian border.

The OSINT community believes that the statement of the Ukrainian authorities about the fall of the drone is true. At the same time, they admit that the UAV could have been shot down by the Ukrainian air defense. They came to this conclusion "based on reports from Ukraine that they can shoot down/hit a large number of Shaheds."
