The Ukrainian armed forces advanced another 1.5 km in the Rabotino area in the Zaporozhye region.
This was stated by the speaker of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, during a telethon.
“We continue small advances in the Rabotino area. About 1.5 square kilometers of our Ukrainian territory have been liberated,” he said.
He also noted that the Defense Forces are holding back enemy attacks in the Maryinsky direction.
"In the area of Maryinka, the Ukrainian military repelled about 15 enemy attacks. That is, the enemy does not stop trying to take the ruins that used to be the city of Maryinka," the speaker noted.
At the same time, Alexander Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping of troops, announced on Telegram that the Defense Forces had advanced more than one kilometer in the Taurida direction.
According to him, the artillery units of our army completed 1,391 fire missions during the day.
"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses amounted to 226 people (irretrievable - 72, wounded - 149, captured - 5). 27 pieces of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 3 tanks, 2 armored combat vehicles, 3 artillery systems and mortars, 2 MLRS, 9 UAVs , 5 units of automotive equipment and 3 units of special equipment. Also, 6 enemy ammunition depots were destroyed," Tarnavsky said.
