The occupiers attacked the Odessa and Sumy regions tonight with more than four dozen “Shaheds”; as a result of the enemy’s drone attack, the number of wounded increased.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, launches of 44 UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type were recorded from three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Cape Chauda, Kursk, and 32 drones were shot down.
According to the press service of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, for 4.5 hours at night the enemy attacked the Odessa region with attack drones. The occupiers were once again targeting the civilian infrastructure of the Danube region.
“In total, 32 UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type were shot down by air defense forces. Unfortunately, non-residential buildings were damaged by hits on the port infrastructure, and a fire occurred in a truck parking lot,” the military said.
It is noted that the fire was quickly extinguished, but seven civilian drivers were injured. People were taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity.
In addition, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported on Telegram that at night 3 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type were destroyed in the skies of the Sumy region.
