The Russian invaders suffered significant losses in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region and south of Novodarivka, Zaporozhye region. This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step liberate temporarily occupied territories, and consolidate on the achieved lines,” the report says.
In particular, 34 military clashes took place over the past 24 hours.
According to the General Staff, in the area of responsibility of the Operational Strategic Group of Forces (OSUV) "Khortitsa" in the Kupyansky, Limansky and Bakhmutsky directions, the enemy is not abandoning attempts to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Orekhovo-Vasilevka.
“In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces during offensive operations had partial success in the Kleshchievka area of the Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment,” the report says.
Also, in the area of responsibility of the Tavriya OSV, Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the defense near Avdeevka and Marinka, where over the past 24 hours the enemy has made more than 20 unsuccessful attempts to oust Ukrainian units from their positions.
In addition, all enemy attacks in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region and south of Novodarivka, Zaporozhye region resulted in significant losses for the invaders, both in manpower and equipment.
At the same time, in the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Shakhtarsky directions, the Defense Forces continue to hold the initiative, put pressure on the enemy, carry out assault operations and recapture our land.
“In the Melitopol direction, the defense forces continue the offensive operation, inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, forcing the enemy to retreat from their positions. As a result of the assault operations, our soldiers have partial success in the Rabotino region of the Zaporozhye region,” the report notes.
At the same time, in the area of responsibility of the OSUV "Odessa" in the Kherson direction, the defense forces continue the counter-battery fight, destroying logistics, deployment sites and firing positions of enemy units.
In addition, in the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to hold a group of troops covering the state border, conducts active sabotage activities in border areas in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
