Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have repelled 13 attacks by Russian invaders in the Kleshchievka area of the Donetsk region. This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step liberate temporarily occupied territories, and consolidate on the achieved lines,” the report says.
Thus, over the past 24 hours, more than 30 military clashes took place.
In particular, in the Bakhmut direction, defense forces successfully repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Kleshchievka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kurdyumovka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. Based on the results of offensive (assault) operations, the Defense Forces are successful in the Kleshchievka area of the Donetsk region, displacing the enemy from their positions.
Also, in the zone of responsibility of the Tavria OSV in the Maryinsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. In this area over the past 24 hours, the enemy made 11 unsuccessful attempts to oust Ukrainian units from their positions.
In addition, all enemy attacks in the areas of Severny, Ravnopol, Donetsk region and Novodarivka, Zaporozhye region resulted in significant losses for the invaders, both in manpower and equipment.
At the same time, in the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Shakhtarsky directions, the defense forces maintain the initiative, put pressure on the enemy, carry out assault operations and recapture our land.
As the General Staff noted, in the Melitopol direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue the offensive operation, inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, forcing the enemy to retreat from their positions.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to conduct counter-battery warfare, destroy supply depots and inflict a successful defeat on the enemy’s rear.
