The occupiers are trying to restore lost positions near Andreevka and Rabotinoy, and are attacking in the area of Kleshchievka and Maryinka. Over the course of 24 hours, more than 30 military clashes took place with the Russian occupiers.
The morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation with the Russian invasion notes that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step liberate temporarily occupied territories, consolidate at the achieved milestones.
In total, 35 military clashes took place over the past 24 hours. The enemy launched 22 missile and 57 air strikes, carried out 55 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
According to the report, in the area of responsibility of the OSUS "Khortitsa" in the Bakhmut direction, the defense forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Kleshchievka area of the Donetsk region.
“The enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Andreevka area of the Donetsk region, but had no success. The defense forces continue assault operations in the area south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating on the achieved lines,” the General Staff informs.
In the zone of responsibility of the Tavria OSV in the Maryinsky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region.
“Here, over the past 24 hours, the enemy has made more than 10 unsuccessful attempts to oust our units from their positions. At the same time, in the Avdeevsky and Shakhtarsky directions, the Defense Forces hold the initiative, put pressure on the enemy and step by step recapture our land,” the report states.
In the Melitopol direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Rabotinoye area of the Zaporozhye region, trying to restore lost positions. The defense forces continue to hold the line on occupied lines, inflict losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, and exhaust the enemy.
In the area of responsibility of the Odessa command and control unit in the Kherson direction, the defense forces are conducting a counter-battery fight, destroying supply depots and inflicting a successful defeat on the enemy’s rear.
In the area of responsibility of the OSUV "North" in the Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to hold a group of troops covering the state border. Conducts active sabotage activities in border areas in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the summary, the General Staff also notes that the Kremlin continues to send military personnel from the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territories of our state. Thus, on September 15 of this year, about 100 conscripts from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic of the Russian Federation arrived in the temporarily occupied city of Dzhankoy, Crimea, at the local military airfield, to strengthen the security and defense of the said facility.
