Ukraine destroyed 27 UAVs at night, but the Russian Federation launched more drones: consequences of the strikes

Air defense destroyed 27 Shaheds at night, with which the enemy tried to strike Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

“The body of a dead man who worked in a warehouse was found under the rubble,” he wrote.
Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the night attack by the Shaheds. As noted by the State Emergency Service, Russian drones attacked the city at about 5 am. As a result, a fire broke out in 3 warehouse buildings (area 9 thousand 450 sq. m.). Firefighting continues.
It is noted that on the night of September 19, 2023, the enemy used attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, as well as an Iskander-M ballistic missile. In total, 30 attack UAV launches were recorded from the south-eastern direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation).
“As a result of combat work, 27 “Shaheds” were destroyed by air defense along the route in the southern, central and western regions. Also in the eastern direction, an operational-tactical level reconnaissance UAV was destroyed,” the message says.
It is also noted that the Russians used one Iskander-M ballistic missile at night, which the enemy fired from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea in the direction of Krivoy Rog.
According to the press service of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, at night from the eastern coast of the Azov Sea, unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed-131/136" type were sent to different regions of Ukraine. In particular, in the area of responsibility of the specified unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 12 attack drones were destroyed: 10 over the Nikolaev region, one each over the Odessa region and Vinnitsa region.
It is noted that during the liquidation of an enemy target, falling debris caused damage to agricultural equipment of one of the private enterprises in the Nikolaev region. Fortunately, no people were injured.
“The enemy launched a missile attack on Krivoy Rog in the middle of the night, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Due to the hit, a four-story building caught fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. The blast wave damaged the facades of three multi-story buildings. Now the information is being clarified.” , - said the press service.
