The Russian occupiers tried to attack on several front lines. Over the past 24 hours, 24 military clashes took place.
As noted in a message on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the enemy launched nine missile and 79 air strikes, and carried out more than 60 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on both positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets.
24 settlements in the Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions received air strikes, and about 100 settlements in these same regions, except the first two, came under artillery fire.
It is noted that in the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian defense forces successfully repulsed enemy attacks in the Yagodnoye area of the Donetsk region.
“The enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Andreevka area of the Donetsk region, but was unsuccessful. The defense forces continue assault operations in the area south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines,” the General Staff reported.
In the Maryinsky direction, the occupiers carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. Here, over the past 24 hours, the invaders made 13 unsuccessful attempts to oust Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their positions.
In the Avdeevsky and Shakhtarsky directions, the Defense Forces continue to hold the defense on occupied lines and inflict losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment.
“In the Zaporozhye direction, enemy attacks in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotinoy and Novodanilovka of the Zaporozhye region resulted in significant losses for the invaders in both manpower and equipment,” the message says.
In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue the offensive operation, inflicting significant losses on the Russian occupiers in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct counter-battery warfare, destroy supply depots and inflict a successful defeat on the enemy’s rear.
“In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to hold a group of troops covering the state border. He is conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and is increasing the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region,” the General Staff reported .
