A serious fire started in Shchelkovo near Moscow on the night of September 27, and corresponding photographs appeared online.
Russian Telegram channels report a fire in the area of the Chkalovsky airfield, which is located on the southeastern outskirts of the city. In the pictures you can see a large column of smoke rising into the sky. “Something is burning powerfully behind the industrial zone on Sokolovskaya,” one of the messages says.
At the same time, the Telegram channel “Caution, News” writes that local residents allegedly see smoke from a fire “in a two-story private house in the dacha village of Zagoryansky.” Neither local authorities nor the Ministry of Emergency Situations commented on what was happening.
