A powerful fire broke out in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. A column of fire was noticed at the Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant.
According to the local Telegram channel, eyewitnesses heard an explosion before the fire.
"Eyewitnesses report a serious fire on the territory of KrAZ. They also report that an explosion was heard before the fire," the report says.
The incident was confirmed by RUSAL, which owns the plant. They stated that there was no explosion, but that the transformer was on fire.
The fire covered an area of 50 square meters. According to preliminary information, there are no dead or injured.
It is worth noting that the released footage clearly shows a column of black smoke and fire.
