Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military carried out further successful attacks on Russian positions, hitting a concentration of invaders and their equipment. As a result, it was possible to destroy a lot of Russian artillery and other equipment and weapons.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation carried out 12 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and 7 on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
In addition, the missile forces hit a communications center, an anti-aircraft missile system, a heavy flamethrower system, 9 artillery pieces, a fuel and lubricants warehouse, a radar station and an enemy electronic warfare station.
The General Staff recalled that on October 5, Kremlin terrorist troops cynically launched a missile attack on a civilian facility in the village of Groza, Kupyansky district, Kharkov region. As a result of the targeted hit, more than 50 civilians were killed.
In total, during the day, the Russians carried out three missile and 65 air strikes, and also carried out 50 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on both positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets.
In addition, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 29 attack drones of the Shahed-136/131 type from the south-east, 24 of which were destroyed by air defense. The attack destroyed and damaged private residences and other civilian infrastructure.
Over the past 24 hours, dozens of settlements have been subjected to air strikes, and more than 110 settlements in the Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have come under artillery fire.
