Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled enemy attacks on six front directions. In total, 39 military clashes took place at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning report.
It is noted that in the zone of responsibility of the OSV "Khortitsa" in the Kupyansky direction, our defenders repulsed five enemy attacks near Sinkovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov region; in the Limansky direction, the defense forces repelled seven enemy attacks in the Makeevka area of the Luhansk region.
At the same time, as the General Staff informed, in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four enemy attacks near Kleshchievka, Donetsk region.
“In turn, the Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. They have partial success in the Andreevka area of the Donetsk region, inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidate on the achieved lines. In the area of responsibility of the Tavria OSUV in the Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions the enemy made more than 15 unsuccessful attacks in the areas of Marinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. In the miners' direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed an enemy attack near Staromayorsky, Donetsk region. In the Zaporozhye direction, our defenders are holding back the enemy in the Levadnoye area, Zaporozhye region," the message says.
The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflict losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, consolidate on occupied lines and exhaust the enemy. In the zone of responsibility of the Odessa command and control unit in the Kherson direction, the defense forces are conducting counter-battery combat, destroying supply depots and successfully hitting enemy rear areas.
