More than 60 clashes per day: the General Staff told where the invaders are attacking

The occupiers continue to attack on several directions of the front; 64 military clashes occurred during the day, according to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step liberate temporarily occupied territories, and consolidate on the achieved lines,” the report says.

In particular, our defenders continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved lines.

At the same time, the Russians do not abandon their attempts to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Avdievka, but to no avail. Our defenders repulsed more than 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Lastochkino, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 enemy attacks in the Sinkovka area and 8 attacks near Ivanovka, Kharkov region. In the Liman direction, defense forces continue to hold back the enemy’s advance in the areas of Makeyevka, southwest of Kremennaya and Serebryansky forestry in the Luhansk region, repulsing more than 5 enemy attacks.

In the Maryinsky direction, over the past 24 hours, defense forces have successfully repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Maryinka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporozhye direction, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Rabotino region of the Zaporozhye region.

In addition, it is noted that in the Kherson direction the defense forces are conducting a counter-battery fight, destroying warehouses and successfully hitting the enemy’s rear.
