In the heart of Switzerland's Lucerne city, a charitable musical extravaganza unfolded at the Cultural Centre (KKL). This event showcased the brilliance of Ukrainian composers, with artists hailing from different corners of Ukraine and Europe gracing the stage. The concert, which lasted for three hours, was conducted by Polish maestro Jurek Dybała, leading the talented Youth Slobozhansky Symphonic Orchestra from Kharkiv. They were joined by the harmonious voices of the "Prostir" choir, under the direction of conductor Oleksiy Yatsyuk.
Each composition and song was delivered with soul-stirring intensity, leaving the audience profoundly moved. The musicians' devotion to their craft was evident in every note, and their performance struck a chord with everyone in attendance.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Switzerland, Irina Venediktova, expressed her gratitude to the KKL management, represented by Felix Hovald, Urban Frey, soprano Daria Mykolenko, bassist Oleksandr Kharlamov, and the conductors, musicians, and vocalists who made this evening possible. She also used the platform to remind the audience that Ukraine is still enduring the challenges of war, with Russian missiles continuing to target Ukrainian cities. The ambassador emphasized that only through collaborative efforts can Ukraine achieve victory and peace.
