Russia again complained about a drone attack on the night of October 18. The Russian Ministry of Defense counted 28 drones that were allegedly shot down by the Russian air defense system.
“Tonight, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation using aircraft-type UAVs was stopped. Air defense systems on duty over the territory of the Belgorod, Kursk regions and the Black Sea intercepted and destroyed 28 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. Sounds are heard in the Belgorod region of Russia explosions tonight, October 18. Regional authorities claim a drone attack,” the report says.
In turn, the governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported on the destruction of six UAVs.
“In the Belgorod region and Yakovlevsky urban district, the air defense system shot down 6 aircraft-type UAVs. Operational services are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or destruction,” the message states.

According to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, a strong explosion that woke up local residents occurred in Yevpatoria. An explosion was also reported in the Saki district, probably near Zaozernoye and in the area of the village of Romashkino.
