The "Sky Threat" exhibition at the War Museum showcases various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used by Russian aggressors for reconnaissance and ground target strikes.

"We are acutely aware that this is an entirely new form of weaponry that we only recently became familiar with, and we have felt its terror," stated Yuriy Savchuk, the museum's director. He noted that the use of these drones in warfare became tragically apparent on October 17, 2022, when Russian forces first employed them in an attack on Kyiv.

Some of the exhibits at the showcase have been contributed from the Zaporizhzhia region, while others were received from the Main Intelligence Directorate. The exhibition features 17 distinct exhibits, including the engine from the Shahed 136 UAV, the "Orlan-10" UAV, DJI Phantom 4 Pro WM331A, and the reconnaissance UAV ZALA 421-16E2, among others.

A unique artifact among the displays is an unmanned aerial object that was recovered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in battle during the summer of 2022 on the southern front. This drone has been adorned with Ukrainian Petrykivka painting, created by the renowned artist Irina Kibets from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and a member of the National Union of Artists.
