In the heart of Lviv, UYU leaders explored various volunteer activities. They observed the preparation, drying, and packaging of food products at a volunteer kitchen that has been serving Ukrainian soldiers since 2014. With just a small amount of support, these dedicated volunteers are able to prepare a variety of dishes, including borscht, "lazy" cabbage rolls, and hearty soups.

Additionally, the UYU leadership participated in the creation of high-quality camouflage nets at one of Lviv's universities. This important work has been transformed into an art, with both locals and internally displaced people contributing to the effort. The nets are custom-made to fulfill the specific needs of various military units, ensuring the work never stops.

The UYU leaders also met with the local Rotary Club, where they learned about the unique work of this volunteer organization. Andrew Byhun, the Head of UYU, expressed hope for further collaboration with the Rotary Club and thanked them for their dedication and active citizenship.

Former Head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, Stefan Romaniw, also expressed his gratitude for the support of Ukraine during a panel discussion at the Ukrainian Catholic University's Volunteer Forum.

Furthermore, UYU joined a panel discussion titled "Children and Youth: Post-War Steps," featuring representatives from the Smile Foundation, the Patriarchal Commission on Youth Affairs of the UGCC, and the USAID "Dream and Act" program.
