During the yearly International Food Day event in Budapest, held at the British International School, Ukrainian mothers showcased a diverse range of Ukrainian dishes to the Hungarian and international audience for the second consecutive year. Among the undeniable favorites of teachers and parents were borscht with garlic bread and dumplings filled with potatoes. Meanwhile, the children eagerly savored cherry-filled dumplings, cottage cheese pancakes, and baked cottage cheese casserole.
One of the main attractions at the Ukrainian food table was a painting titled "Our Golden Mother Ukraine," which was specially created for the occasion by one of the talented Ukrainian participants, Tetiana Chyhiryn. The painting was presented as a gift to the Embassy after the event.
The Embassy expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization of the event, recognizing their hard work and the dignified representation of Ukraine. They also acknowledged the beautiful gift – a painting symbolizing the unbreakable and united homeland.
