Kuwait, a prominent player in the Middle East, has extended a welcoming hand to Ukrainian poultry exporters. This breakthrough was announced by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, indicating a positive step towards expanding Ukraine's global market reach.
The necessary international certificate format and the list of mandatory documents accompanying poultry meat exports to Kuwait have been made available on the official web portal of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. This transparency ensures that Ukrainian exporters have clear guidelines to adhere to, streamlining the export process.
It is crucial to emphasize that the responsibility for the safety and compliance of food products with destination country requirements lies with the business entity. The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection will exercise state supervision and control to guarantee adherence to these standards.
This development follows a series of successful market openings for various Ukrainian agricultural products. In October, Azerbaijan welcomed composite products containing poultry meat and dairy products prepared for culinary use. Additionally, North Macedonia opened its doors to processed animal feed, and Albania embraced dairy products, further enhancing Ukraine's position in international trade.
