In Israel, the number of victims among Ukrainians has increased, - Foreign Ministry

In the State of Israel, after the Hamas terrorist attack, the number of victims among Ukrainians increased. Foreign Ministry Speaker Oleg Nikolenko told a reporter about this in a comment.
“Unfortunately, the number of victims among Ukrainians in Israel has increased. In general, we now have confirmed information about 21 dead Ukrainians, as well as 1 missing,” Nikolenko said.
At the same time, in the Gaza Strip there are known to be 3 dead (two children and an adult), as well as 6 wounded, of which 3 are children. Citizens have injuries of varying degrees of severity and are receiving medical assistance.
“357 Ukrainians, of which 208 are women, have expressed a desire to evacuate from the Palestinian enclave. Ukrainian diplomatic institutions maintain constant contact with them. At the same time, the Rafah checkpoint on the border of the Gaza Strip and Egypt is not yet operational. There is no opportunity to leave yet “This applies not only to our citizens, but also to citizens of other states,” the speaker noted.
In this regard, the diplomat noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, together with partners, is working with the parties involved to obtain permission for the speedy removal of people.
