During today's night attack, Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down 18 out of 20 attack drones launched by the enemy, as well as one X-59 guided missile.
According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the night of November 1, the Russian occupiers attacked critical infrastructure and military installations in Ukraine, using attack drones of the Shahed-136/131 type and an X-59 guided missile.
In particular, the enemy released the Kh-59 and some of the “martyrs” from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, while the rest of the enemy attack drones attacked from the south-eastern direction - Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation.
According to the military, an air raid alert was declared in most regions of Ukraine during the night attack. Attack UAVs were destroyed along the route by tactical aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, as well as mobile fire groups of the air force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“In total, 18 out of 20 Shahed-136/131 attack drones were shot down. An X-59 guided missile was also destroyed,” the air force said.
