In Poland, the box office earnings of the animated film "Mavka" from Ukraine have exceeded 9.5 million zlotys, equivalent to more than 2 million euros, following its three months in theaters.
From the very beginning, the Ukrainian animated film "Mavka" has maintained a strong presence among the top-grossing releases in Polish cinemas. After just three months of screening, the film's box office earnings crossed the 9,513,539 zloty mark, with a total of 479,965 tickets sold, as stated in an official announcement by the film distributor.
The Ukrainian State Film Agency, known as "Derzkino," emphasized the unprecedented success of this Ukrainian project in the Polish market. They expressed gratitude to the Polish audience for their enthusiastic reception and pledged to continue the film's screening.
The animated film "Mavka. Forest Song" was created with the support of Derzkino and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
In Ukraine, the theatrical distribution is managed by FILM.UA Distribution and Kinomania Film Distribution.
It's worth noting that the Ukrainian animated film "Mavka. Forest Song" has also been released for wide distribution in Turkey.
