The Russian occupiers are not giving up their attempts to encircle Avdiivka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled dozens of attacks in several directions.
As noted in a message on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 45 military clashes took place over the past 24 hours. Air strikes were carried out on 14 settlements in the Kharkov, Donetsk and Kherson regions, as well as the Serebryansky forestry in the Lugansk region.
More than 80 settlements of these same regions, as well as Chernigov, Sumy and Zaporozhye came under artillery fire.
In the zone of responsibility of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortitsa" in the Kupyansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Berestovo, Kharkov region, where Ukrainian defenders repulsed six enemy attacks.
In the Limansky direction, the Russian occupiers carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the Serebryansky forestry area.
“In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repulsed six attacks by the invaders near Bogdanovka, Andreevka and Kleschievka in the Donetsk region. At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines,” - the message says.
In the zone of responsibility of the Tavriya OSUV in the Avdeevsky direction, the invaders are not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdeevka. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are staunchly holding the defense and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed 14 enemy attacks near Stepnoye, Avdeevka, Tonenkoye and Pervomaisky in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks, and in the Shakhtarsky direction the invaders carried out assault operations in the Staromayorsky area of the Donetsk region, but had no success.
In the Zaporozhye direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
“At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line,” the General Staff noted.
In addition, in the area of responsibility of the Odessa command and control unit in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers are conducting counter-battery combat and inflicting fire on the enemy’s rear.
