Over the past 24 hours, a total of 69 military clashes took place; the enemy carried out assault operations in almost all directions. The Russians persistently attack in the area of Marinka and Avdeevka, but have no success.
As reported in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the area of responsibility of the OSUV "Khortitsa" in the Kupyansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of the village of Sinkovka, Kharkov region, where our defenders repulsed 7 enemy attacks. In the Liman direction, the enemy carried out assault operations near Stelmakhovka and Novoegorovka, Lugansk region, but was unsuccessful.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed about 10 attacks by the invaders in the Bogdanovka, Kleshchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. As the General Staff notes, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and are consolidating on the achieved lines.
“In the zone of responsibility of the Tavria OSV in the Avdeevka direction, the enemy does not abandon attempts to encircle Avdeevka. Our soldiers staunchly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the invaders. The enemy carried out assault operations southeast of Novokalinovo, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 attacks enemy. In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. Here the Defense Forces repelled more than 25 attacks," the General Staff informs.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations south of Zolotaya Niva and Staromayorsky, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction, our defenders repulsed 4 enemy attacks in the Verbovoy and Rabotinoy areas of the Zaporozhye region.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the zone of responsibility of the Odessa command and control unit in the Kherson direction, our soldiers are conducting a counter-battery fight, inflicting fire on the enemy’s rear.
In the area of responsibility of the OSUV "North" in the Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes. In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas and is increasing the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
