Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed at the expert level on the second revision of the program within the framework of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal announced this on Telegram.

“Ukraine and the IMF agreed at the expert level on the second revision of the program within the framework of the EFF Extended Financing Facility. The Fund noted our progress in fulfilling obligations under the program and commitment to reforms,” the head of government said.

According to Shmygal, this agreement opens the way to receiving a tranche in the amount of about $900 million.

“We expect that the corresponding decision will be made by the IMF Executive Board in the coming weeks,” the prime minister noted.

He recalled that the program under the IMF's Extended Fund Facility is a four-year program totaling $15.6 billion that is essential to maintaining our economic stability and recovery.
