SpaceX Launches SES O3b mPOWER Mission, Adds Two Communication Satellites to Orbit

The SES O3b mPOWER mission, conducted by SpaceX, marked the 84th launch for the company this year. The two communication satellites deployed are now part of the O3b constellation managed by SES SA from Luxembourg. These satellites, positioned approximately 8,000 km above Earth, are set to enhance high-speed connectivity for diverse clients in both public and private sectors, starting from late 2023.
Currently, SpaceX's Starlink, a mega-constellation of broadband Internet satellites, comprises over 5000 operational satellites. This successful mission further solidifies SpaceX's position in the space industry and contributes to the ever-expanding network of global communication satellites.
