Russian invaders have been attacking Kherson this morning. Five people were injured by the invaders' shelling, including a child.
“As a result of the artillery shelling of Kherson, five people were injured: a three-year-old girl with a 55-year-old grandmother, a 59-year-old man and two more women, 47 and 69 years old,” Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko said on Telegram.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that all the victims had shrapnel wounds. Doctors provide them with the necessary assistance.
“The child and his grandmother were walking in the yard. Enemy artillery covered them at the entrance,” Klimenko noted.
According to him, a war crime has been recorded.
As the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, reported on Telegram, over the past 24 hours the enemy carried out 71 attacks, firing 389 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, ZU-23, UAVs and aircraft.
In particular, the Russian military entered residential areas of settlements in the region; territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Kherson region.
In addition, he said that the girl had wounds to her neck and leg. She is in the hospital. The man received shrapnel wounds, and the injured women are in hospital in a condition of moderate severity.
Over the past 24 hours, November 18, four people were injured due to Russian aggression.
