In Poland, a bus carrying Ukrainians crashed into a tree. The accident occurred in the village of Wereszyn, Lublin Voivodeship, at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, November 19. Two women and a 6-year-old child died.
As RMF reports with reference to the duty officer of the regional department of the State Fire Service Yakub Kurchuk, there were 10 people on the bus, all of them were citizens of Ukraine.
“The bus drove into the oncoming lane, then into a ditch and crashed into a tree,” Kurchuk said.
Two people died on the spot, the third tried to resuscitate him, but unfortunately, unsuccessfully. Seven people were hospitalized.
According to the publication, Ukrainian citizens were heading to the border crossing in Dolgobychiv. According to the preliminary version, the driver fell asleep at the wheel. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is currently clarifying information about the accident.
