Over the past 24 hours, the invaders advanced in five directions, and 46 military clashes took place at the front. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff.
In particular, the situation was hottest in the Maryinsky direction, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled 16 attacks. The enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the Krasnogorovka, Marinka and Pobeda areas of the Donetsk region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out assault operations in the Sinkovka areas, east of Petropavlovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov region, where the defense forces repulsed 7 attacks. At the same time, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the Liman direction.
“In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out assault operations in the areas of Kleshchievka and Andreevka, Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 11 attacks. The Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines,” - noted at the General Staff.
It is also reported that in the Avdeevka direction the occupiers are not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdeevka. “Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy’s offensive actions east of Novokalinovo, Novobakhmutovka, Severny and Avdeevka in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, where the Defense Forces repulsed 12 attacks,” the General Staff reported.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the invaders carried out assault operations near Staromayorsky, Donetsk region, but were unsuccessful.
In the Zaporozhye direction the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In addition, the General Staff noted that in the Kherson direction the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy’s rear.
