Russian troops launched a massive airstrike against positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using RBK-500 cluster bombs modified into glide bombs.
As analysts from the Institute for the Study of War said, this happened yesterday, November 19, in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled ground offensive attacks by Russian invaders in the Staromayorsky area. Also, the enemy was unable to advance in the border region of Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.
“Russian bloggers said that Russian troops carried out a large airstrike using RBK-500 cluster bombs modified into glide bombs against Ukrainian positions near Staromayorsky,” the publication indicates.
According to enemy “military correspondents,” this strike was “the first major Russian strike on Ukraine using this weapon in the modification of a glide bomb.”
