The Armed Forces of Ukraine received the first 3,000 FPV drones thanks to Operation Unity, a joint collection by UNITED24, Turn Around Alive and monobank, said Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
“Each drone was equipped with Ukrainian-made ammunition and transferred to 19 military units. These powerful “birds” will help more effectively hit enemy positions and equipment,” Fedorov wrote.
In total, the Defense Forces will receive 10,000 kamikaze drones.
As reported by the media, one of the largest donations, 10 million UAH, came with the assistance of the Favbet Foundation.
Earlier, with the assistance of the fund, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also received 53 new SUVs for the attack companies of the “Drone Army”.
