Ukrainian Comedy "Don Juan from Zhashkiv" Trailer Released

The trailer for the upcoming Ukrainian comedy, "Don Juan from Zhashkiv," has been released by Kristi Films and Ukrainian Producers Hub. The film, directed by Viktor Butok and produced by Yuri Minzianov and Dmitry Minzianov, features a star-studded cast including Vyacheslav Babenkov, Nadia Meikher, Dzidzio (Mikhail Khoma), Antonina Khizhniak, Roman Yasinovsky, Dayana Kulbida, Natalia Kobizska, Rob Feldman, Oleg Karpenko, Maxim Maksimyuk, and Alexander Ivanov.

The plot revolves around Evgeny Horobchik, a Kiev-based photographer originally from Zhashkiv, who inadvertently finds new love while navigating through the complexities of his current marriage and other challenges. The character reaches a pivotal moment where he contemplates a drastic decision, unless life reveals an unexpected secret to happiness.

According to the State Film Agency of Ukraine, the filming took place before the onset of the full-scale invasion. The movie is set to premiere in theaters on January 4, 2024. This project received support from the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema, with B&H Film Distribution Company serving as the distributor.
