Instagram's Latest Feature Allows Global Users to Download Public Reels

When users download Reels, the videos will bear an Instagram watermark along with the account name, similar to videos from TikTok. To download a Reel, users can simply click the "Share" button and choose the download option to save the video. Instagram also provides the option to restrict others from downloading your Reels. Users can navigate to the account settings, go to "Privacy" and "Reels," and disable the "Allow others to download your Reels" option.
Audio Considerations:
It's important to note that if a Reel features licensed music, it will be downloaded without sound. However, if the video contains original audio, the downloaded Reel will retain its sound.
