During the 17th meeting of the Defense Contact Group of Ukraine within the "Ramstein format," Estonia announced its initial contribution to the IT coalition, amounting to €500,000. Luxembourg had previously made a substantial contribution of €10 million.
Additionally, Iceland declared its intention to join the coalition during the meeting, becoming the seventh partner country to join the initiative. Estonia, Luxembourg, Belgium, Latvia, Lithuania, and Denmark had already joined the coalition earlier.
The Ministry of Defense called on Germany to join the IT coalition during the visit of the German Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius, to Kyiv.
The IT coalition, led by Estonia and Luxembourg within the framework of the Defense Contact Group of Ukraine ("Ramstein format"), focuses on providing support to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of IT, communication, and cybersecurity.
