The Ministry conducted trials on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from six Ukrainian manufacturers, mainly focusing on FPV drones created by private companies. These tests aimed to assess the drones' performance under the influence of electronic warfare systems, their resilience against signal jamming in video communication, and control channels.

A Step Towards Improvement

These trials provided an excellent opportunity for most manufacturers to identify weaknesses in their designs and concentrate on enhancing their projects, specifically in countering electronic warfare systems. According to the Ministry, one manufacturer showcased a serial development of a kamikaze drone, demonstrating its resilience in communication and drone control amid confrontation with electronic warfare systems.

Field-Proven Innovation

A representative from the manufacturing company highlighted the drone's successful combat performance and its "fairly stable" capabilities in facing enemy electronic warfare tools. Pending further successful testing and approval for operational use, the company is prepared to scale up production.

Technological Advancements

While the project initiated about a year ago, the recent advancements showcased the drone's capacity to execute combat missions within a range of up to ten kilometers. The company's representative emphasized that the technology employed in this model wasn't entirely groundbreaking but rather a successful amalgamation of their previous knowledge and experience.

Ongoing Evaluations

The Ministry of Defense stressed the routine nature of these evaluations on new UAV models, indicating their commitment to regularly conduct such tests to ensure technological advancement in unmanned aerial systems.
