In a highly anticipated match of the Conference League's group stage, Maccabi competed against Zorya on Saturday, November 25. The game unfolded at the TSC Arena in the Serbian city of Backa Topola, concluding with a victory for the Israeli club.

The game's tempo heightened towards the end of the first half when Eran Zahavi netted a goal on the 45+2nd minute after a pass from Gabi Kanichovski. Dor Peretz extended the lead early in the second half with another goal for Maccabi. His second goal at the 60th minute seemed to seal the deal, but Zorya managed to retaliate with goals from Guerrero and Horbach, closing the gap but ultimately failing to salvage a draw.

The final score stood at Maccabi 3, Zorya 2.

Goal scorers: Zahavi (45+2), Peretz (46, 60) - Guerrero (71), Horbach (88)
