Military expert Pyotr Chernik explained what needs to be attacked first on the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Two goals are extremely important for us and very useful and necessary. These are any workshops that produce at least some kind of weapons. Gunpowder, iron, shells, fold drones, and so on. Tula is a huge weapons hub of the Russian Federation. And not only Russian “Even under the tsars there were a lot of different military factories,” the expert noted on the telethon, answering the question about what Russian goals Ukraine should focus on first.
So, Chernik noted, this is the first goal. And the second, which is also very important, is railway tracks and especially railway junctions.
“Everything that is transported by the Russians, from standard standard ammunition to artillery, to medicines, water and so on, is transported 90% by rail. These are actually very serious goals for us,” he emphasized.
The expert added that the Russian railway is electrified, and “everything related to depriving electric trains of this traction is also an absolutely legitimate goal for us.”
Chernik also agreed that the success of Ukrainian military operations depends heavily on cutting off the logistics route from Russia to its temporarily occupied Crimea, and that the main goal here is the elimination of the Kerch Bridge.
