Exchange Rates Update
The official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro on Tuesday stood at 39.66 UAH/EUR, indicating a depreciation of the hryvnia by 30 kopecks compared to the previous rate. Similarly, the official rate of the dollar against the hryvnia was set at 36.22 UAH/USD, showcasing a 17 kopeck decline compared to the prior rate.
Market Trends
The interbank foreign exchange market in Ukraine noted rates at 36.27/36.29 UAH/USD and 39.70/39.72 UAH/EUR for the dollar and euro, respectively, by 4:00 PM.
Local Currency Markets
In Kiev's currency exchange offices, the average dollar rate slightly increased to 37.58 UAH/USD (selling rate at 37.45 UAH), while the euro rose by 8 kopecks to 40.95 UAH/EUR (selling rate at 40.80 UAH).
Bank Rates
At "PrivatBank," the cash dollar rate remained unchanged at 37.45 UAH/USD, while the euro dropped by 5 kopecks to 41.00 UAH/EUR.
Expert Projections
According to Taras Lesoviy, the head of the Treasury Department at "Globus Bank," the currency market trends are expected to remain steady from November 27th to December 3rd. Cash market rates are predicted to fluctuate between 37-38 UAH/USD and 39-41 UAH/EUR, with daily changes and spreads hovering around 0.3-0.5 UAH.
