The third evaluation competition results of the Eurimages fund were announced on November 27. The executive committee of the fund, following the recommendations of independent experts gathered online, decided to support the joint production of 29 artistic films, including 7 documentaries and 3 animated films, with a total amount of €8,130,000.
Among the winners of this competition is the documentary collaborative film "Cuba and Alaska," directed by Yegor Troyanovsky. According to the revealed results, this film has secured €150,000 in support from Eurimages.
"Cuba and Alaska" is a minority co-production involving France (TAG Film), Belgium (Clin d'oeil films), and Ukraine (2Brave Productions).
On December 19, 2019, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law "On Ukraine's accession to the European fund for the support of joint production and distribution of artistic cinematographic and audiovisual works (Eurimages)."
