The exploit unit, managed by the Pyongyang General Control and Regulation Center under the State Aerospace Administration, began its mission on Saturday. Information gathered during the mission will be shared with key military departments responsible for the country's defense, as well as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.
On November 22, North Korea declared the successful launch of a spy satellite into orbit around Earth and announced plans to launch several more in the near future to enhance its reconnaissance capabilities. The military satellite has reportedly captured detailed images of the White House, the Pentagon, and the main U.S. naval base in Norfolk with docked aircraft carriers. The country's authorities stated that any interference with the satellite would be considered a "declaration of war."
Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, and the United States, along with other Western nations, strongly condemned North Korea's satellite launch, citing the use of ballistic technologies. They called for an immediate halt to any actions that pose a threat to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and globally.
