Heavy fighting is underway: ISW spoke about the situation in the coke and industrial zone of Avdeevka

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack Russian invaders south of Stepovoy. And near the coke plant and the industrial zone of Avdeevka, fierce fighting continues.
This is stated in a recent review by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Analysts noted that Ukrainian troops carried out a counterattack near Avdiivka and regained lost positions. Geolocation footage shows Ukrainian forces attacking Russian positions in a forest belt south of Stepovoy.
At the same time, Russian troops continued offensive operations in the Avdeevsky direction and achieved progress. Geolocation footage shows that Russian troops have advanced into the reservoir area north of Avdeevka. In addition, additional geolocation imagery shows that Russian troops have advanced within Stepnoye, 5 km northwest of Avdeevka.
Russian military bloggers claimed that the occupiers had consolidated control over positions in and around Stepovoy, and one of these bloggers claimed that Russian troops had advanced 600m into a forested area southeast of Stepovoy.
