Ukraine will receive powerful RCH-155 self-propelled guns from Germany in 2024: what is their peculiarity?

Germany may transfer new RCH-155 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine as early as 2024, Axel Scheibel, responsible for the development of the self-propelled guns and managing director of the manufacturing company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, told Spiegel.
According to him, production has already begun, and the first cars should be transferred to Ukraine at the end of next year. Shaibel also recalled that Ukraine is the first customer of this equipment.
The RCH-155 is similar to the Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled gun, but mounted on a Boxer wheeled vehicle. Scheibel noted that the RCH-155's gun pod fires 155mm artillery ammunition while in motion, making it unique in the world.
The fact that this self-propelled gun does not need to stop to fire shells has huge advantages, as it makes it difficult to detect and fight.
The RCH-155 is capable of automatically firing nine rounds per minute, which can hit targets 40 to 50 kilometers away or even more, depending on the type of ammunition.
