Exploring New Oil Reserves
Ukrgasvydobuvannya has successfully drilled a new oil well in the western region of Ukraine, boasting an initial output of 25-30 tons of oil per day. The primary aim behind the angled drilling was to explore reserves within the Stryi deposits. Impressively, the drilling, spanning a total length of 1244 meters, was completed in a mere 32 days, as highlighted in the official announcement.
Discoveries and Prospects
During the drilling process, experts uncovered the project horizon and, through geophysical studies, assessed its potential for oil extraction. The promising deposits lie within the depth range of 886-1122 meters. Ukrgasvydobuvannya has initiated perforation within the 1085-1122 meter interval, marking the ongoing development phase. The initial daily oil production stands at 25-30 tons.
Prior Successes and Expansion
This accomplishment follows Ukrgasvydobuvannya's recent repair work on a gas well in eastern Ukraine, resulting in a 60,000-cubic-meter increase in daily gas output.
