A full-scale war is ongoing in Ukraine, and Russian occupation forces have “recently advanced southwest of Donetsk,” which is still under enemy control.
According to analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), geolocation footage published on Tuesday, March 5, shows that the invaders were advancing south of the village of Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region.
“A Kremlin-linked blogger... stated that elements of the Russian 155th Marine Brigade (Pacific Fleet) were advancing from the east towards Novomikhailovka, and elements of the 68th Army Corps (also the Pacific Fleet) captured a dairy farm north of the village.... Related The Kremlin blogger also claimed that Russian troops advanced into the center of Georgievka, west of Donetsk, on March 5, but ISW could not independently verify this claim,” the report noted.
Analysts also showed a fresh map of military operations.
