As a result of the Russian missile attack, which took place yesterday, March 17, at about two o'clock in the afternoon in Nikolaev, one person was killed and nine more were injured.
The head of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration, Vitaly Kim, announced this this morning on Telegram.
“In the afternoon, March 17, at 13:55 and 14:07, the enemy struck an infrastructure facility in Nikolaev with ballistics, firing two missiles, probably Iskander-M, from the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the missile attack in the hospital, one person was killed, nine more people were injured injuries, including two children. The victims are provided with all necessary medical care," he wrote.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, private and apartment buildings and civilian cars were damaged in the city. Sections of the outdoor lighting network, part of the tram tracks and the overhead contact network were also destroyed. Restoration work is underway.
He added that also yesterday at 11:39, enemy artillery shelling was recorded in the waters of the Ochakov community in the Nikolaevsky region. “There were no injuries,” the message said.
