Russian occupiers launched a massive missile attack on Kharkov and the Kharkov region yesterday, as a result of which there is damage to critical energy-generating infrastructure facilities.
This was announced by the chairman of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov. He added that 8 civilians were injured as a result of the strikes. "Power supply was restored at night and 100% of consumers in the city and region were connected. However, due to the consequences of missile strikes on February 11 and 12, special emergency shutdown schedules for 12 lines will operate," Sinegubov said.
According to him, during the day the Russians shelled at least 17 border settlements of Bogodukhovsky, Chuguevsky, Kupyansky and Kharkov regions.
As a result of shelling and air strikes on Volchansk, Chuguevsky district, apartment buildings, industrial facilities, the Oschadbank building, a pharmacy, a kindergarten and other civilian facilities were damaged. A 69-year-old woman was injured and was hospitalized.
In Kupyansk, shelling damaged seven private houses. In the village of Odnorobovka, Bogodukhovsky District, two two-story apartment buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Sinegubov also noted that demining continues in the de-occupied territories of the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnicians neutralized 43 explosive items.
