France sends 14 AMX-10RC light tanks to Ukraine. This is the first batch of armored vehicles from Paris.
The same number of crews and leaders have been trained in recent weeks at the Saumur Cavalry School, the cradle of French armored cavalry, according to Forces Operations.
"The Ukrainian contingent sent to Maine and Loire did not consist only of armored reconnaissance specialists. This is enough to support the hypothesis of another potentially more "frontal" use of the respected vehicle by Ukrainian troops," the material says.
As you know, earlier French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu confirmed the full, operational and specialized support for Ukraine in the defense of ground targets with the help of artillery and tanks.
