Almost 44,000 Ukrainians have already been recruited into the Recovery Army

According to the civil service, as of August 14, 2023, starting from October 1 last year, 43,624 Ukrainians from 19 regions took part in community service.
Most of all job referrals were issued in Kharkiv region - 7891, Poltava region - 6770, Donetsk region - 5040, Kyiv region - 4980 and Chernihiv region - 4729.
UAH 283 million has already been allocated to pay wages for participation in socially useful work.
As reported, the "Restoration Army" project was introduced by the government in the fall of 2022 in order to attract people who temporarily lost their jobs due to their performance of socially useful work to the restoration of the country. Payment for such work cannot be lower than the minimum wage - UAH 6,700.
